Project Runway Controversy

The winner chosen from the latest installment of Project Runaway was a bit of a shocker, igniting a lot of controversy amongst the show’s fans. The judges, which included Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, Jessica Simpson (who acted as a guest judge) and Michael Kors chose Gretchen Jones as the winner. Not all of the judges agreed that Gretchen was the best designer but they were ultimately out-voted.

The Gretchen Jones pick was surprising and polarizing amongst some fans. Not many people felt that she was worthy of the win. There were those who were not overly impressed with her final collection. Others felt that, overall, her body of work was fairly weak. She hadn’t won a challenge all season. In fact, she barely hung on from week-to-week.

During the reunion show, many of the other designers spoke negatively of Gretchen, though not all of them. There were some who had some positive things to say, even taking up for her.

Regarding the judges who weren’t crazy about her collection, Gretchen stated that her goal was to reach only two judges, Nina Garcia and Michael Kors, which she ultimately did. Jones went on to say that both her own and her competitor, Mondo’s futures were bright and that he was a worthy opponent.

Celine Dion Reveals Twins Names

Celine Dion recently gave birth to twin boys. She and her husband announced the birth of their sons, but did not initially release their names. Well, they have finally done so. The boys names are Eddy and Nelson. Both names have meanings special to their parents.

Eddy was named after a gentleman by the name of Eddy Mornay. He is a producer that has worked closely with Celine over the course of her career. In fact, he helped produce her first five albums which is pretty impressive considering how successful Dion’s career has been, especially early on.

Nelson, was named in honor of Nelson Mandela. Both Renee (Celine Dion’s husband) and Celine have been quite impressed with Mandela’s life.

Nelson and Eddy were both born early. Each weighed a little more than 5 pounds which is pretty good considering that the boys were twins and born early.

The boys were forced to spend some time in the neonatal intensive care unit. Though this sounds bad, its perfectly normal for these types of births.

Porn Star Planning To Sue Charlie Sheen

The porn star who locked herself in the bathroom and called police when Charlie Sheen went ballistic in his hotel room is planning on suing the embattled and troubled star. She has already hired a lawyer.

Capri Anderson, the porn actress, believes that Sheen’s behavior was so over the top that she was physically in danger and kept in the room against her will. As you probably already know by now, a naked Charlie Sheen began screaming and tearing up his hotel room after his very expensive and rare watch went missing. He accused Anderson of stealing it. She became fearful for her life, ran to the bathroom, locked herself in and called the cops. The cops came to the hotel room and gave Sheen two options, go to the hospital or to the police station. He chose the former. The latter, if he was arrested at least, would have put him in violation of his probation. This would have landed him back in the slammer. Teen Mom’s Salaries Posted

Individuals that watch the hit television show, ‘Teen Mom,’ may be interested in this tidbit of information, namely the salaries of the show’s stars.

Many of them claim to not have any money. However, the facts don’t add up in this regard. Sure, the teens aren’t rich but they’re definitley not living in the poor house. They make a good amount of money.

For a single season of the show, each teen earns between $60,000 and $65,000. they’re obviously not millionaires but they shouldn’t be living in the poor house either. For a teen mom, $65,000 a year is an extraordinary amout of money, especially when you consider the alternative which would probably be government assistance.

The problem seems to be that the kids are blowing through their money. That’s not surpising considering their age. They probably assume that they will be keep receiving checks this large, forever, and aren’t saving wisely.

They’ll eventually learn but the circumstances in which they do, probably won’t be pretty. Best wishes to all of them! Here’s to hoping that they get their stuff together!!

Anna Nicole Smith’s Ex-Boyfriend Charged With Conspiracy

Howard Stern, an attorney and close friend of Ann Nicole Smith, was just convicted of two counts of conspiracy. His crime? Providing the late Anna Nicole Smith, with drugs that were prescribed to him.

All the news from the courts, however, was not bad. He was not convicted of all of the charges leveled against hi. He was acquitted on 7 of them. He also avoided jail, at least for now. Instead, he was allowed to go free while his appeal is pending.

Stern didn’t show much emotion. He did put his head in his hands prior to the verdict being read, however, other then that, there were no tears or outward signs of emotion. Stern has about two months before he is due back in court for sentencing.
