Angelina Jolie to shoot in India

Angelina Jolie might soon visit India. No, she doesn’t have any plan to adopt a kid from India but will return for the shooting of her film, ‘Wanted 2’.

Director Timur Bekmabetov has plans to repeat Jolie for the upcoming sequel to last year’s hit film ‘Wanted’, which was loosely based on the comic book series by Mark Millar. Jolie’s return to the sequel is surprising because her character was killed in ‘Wanted’. But the director wants to repeat her. However, it’s not known whether Jolie will be back as ‘Fox’ or will essay a different character.

As reported, the project has a budget of $150 million.
“In the late autumn or winter, shooting will begin. The shooting will take place in America, India and Russia,” Bekmabetov is quoted as saying.
If things go as planned, Jolie will give her nod to the project, despite the rumours that the ‘Tomb Raider’ star is not interested in doing action roles anymore. It would be Jolie’s second movie shoot in India after ‘A Mighty Heart’ which she shot at many locations in the country.
The director also wants to rope in Konstantin Khabenskiy, who played the role of The Exterminator, and will also introduce new characters in the sequel.
‘Wanted’ was nominated for two Oscars and starred Morgan Freeman and James McAvoy.
