Faith Evans divorces manager husband

American R&B star Faith Evans has filed for divorce from her manager husband after 12 years of marriage.

The 'Never Gonna Let You Go' singer cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for her split from record company executive Todd Russaw in court documents filed in LA and obtained by TMZ.

Evans is asking for joint custody and sole physical custody of the couple's two children Joshua, 10, and 4-year-old Ryder. She also wants the judge to reject any claim of spousal support.

The 37-year-old further claims to have separated from Russaw back in 2005, despite giving birth to Ryder two years later.

Evans has two more children from previous relationships, including a teenage son with late rap star The Notorious B.I.G.

Evans escaped jail time last November after cutting a plea deal for two separate DUI charges.
