Britney Spears is all geared up to perform at London’s O2 arena in June 2009 where she will play for two weeks in a row.
The 26-year-old pop icon, who last played in the UK during her ‘The Onyx Hotel Tour’ in 2004, will take to the stage in what is to be one of the biggest months in British live music history. The singer will join Prince and the Spice Girls as acts while English bands ‘ Oasis’, ‘Take That’ and ‘ Coldplay’ will be giving their performances in the same month. “It will be fantastic for Britney and great for her fans in the UK that so many of them will see her in action,” the Sun quoted a source as saying. “She really looks like she will be on top of her game. Her fitness and state-of-mind are improving all the time,” the source added. Britney’s comeback single ‘Womanizer’ will be out on November 3 followed by her album ‘Circus’ will hit the shelves on December 1 – her 27th birthday.
