Oscar-winner Adrien Brody has revealed that he survived a freezing night outdoors eating berries and bugs to prepare for his new role in the movie Wrecked.
The Pianist actor plays a car crash survivor who is stranded in the wilderness with no choice but to stay out in a freezing night, surviving on whatever the jungle had to offer.
The stunt was even more difficult for the actor who has still not fully recovered from his stomach infection that he picked up in India.
"The sickness kind of knocked me down and weakened me, but I still decided to spend a night in the woods, eating insects in February in Canada," the Daily Express quoted Brody as saying.
"As unpleasant as that transition was, it helped me make the shift as quickly as possible," Brody added.
