The Kapoors are 'excited', 'delighted' to turn grandparents in March next year
The Kapoors as well as their star son, Ranbir are all thrilled.
Says a source in the Kapoor home, "Rishi is bit nervous about turning grandpa, Ranbir is excited about becoming an uncle and welcoming a tot into their family and Neetu has been rushing to Delhi every chance she gets to pamper her little girl."
mom-to-be is currently in London shopping for her baby's clothes. Says the proud to-be grandmom, "We are very excited."
While the grandpa says, "We are delighted. I do not know how to react to this. It hasn't seeped in yet."
Upon Riddhima's return from the UK, the Kapoors and the Sahnis will figure out when she will come to stay with her parents, as it is customary that a daughter stays with her parents in the last trimester of her first child.
Rishi and Neetu's latest film together, Do Dooni Chaar and their performances were well received by critics and audiences alike.
The couple admit they are open to offers together, on the condition the subject is good. "We are also over the moon with the reactions and the way the film has been received."
Riddhima wed Bharat Sahni on January 25, 2006. They met while studying in London and after a three year courtship married each other.
The mehendi ceremony was at RK Studios in Chembur and was followed by a cocktail dinner at Mumbai's Inter Continental Grand.
The wedding was held at the ITC Grand Maratha with 1000 plus guests in attendance. The grand reception for the newly-weds was held at a farmhouse in Chattarpur.
After the celebrations, Riddhima and Bharat left for a month-long honeymoon to Australia and New Zealand.
