According to Women's Wear Daily, British singer Lily Allen has a new line of clothing in the works. She's teaming up with her sister, Sarah Owen, for a new collection focused on vintage-inspired garments.
The line will be called "Lucy in Disguise", the same name as their vintage shop located in London's Convent Garden district. Reportedly, the new line was designed with a fictional clotheshorse named Lucy in mind.
At a press conference, Allen explained:
"(Lucy's) a time-traveling fashionista, who's inviting you to explore her wardrobe. It's a great opportunity to play with the character."
Included in the collection are many types of dresses inspired by several different decades. The dresses will hit stores in June, and will retail from $175 to $630. In the U.S., they'll be available on shopbop.com. In the U.K. they'll be available at the Lucy in Disguise store, lucyindisguiselondon.com, Harvey Nichols and other international shops.
